During 2021–2022, CC has been celebrating 20 years of our founding in 2001 and the first release of the CC licenses in 2002, successfully concluding an ambitious fundraising campaign to support programs like Open Culture, Open Climate Campaign, and Open Education, and to help ensure CC’s ongoing sustainability.In November 2022, CC will bring the 20th anniversary celebration to an official close with both online and in-person activities. The CC Global Network and our broader community are at the heart of CC’s work to support better sharing for an open commons, so we are inviting you to be a part of marking this milestone.The CC Portugal Happy Hour will be the first of many events around the world during this time and we hope you will join us to celebrate together, to reconnect with colleagues and peers since lockdowns ended, and perhaps even make new friends.
